ao

This is a blend vowel, consisting of two parts. The first half sounds the single vowel “ a ” , and the second half sounds the single vowel “ o ”. The two sounds should be pronounced together. The first half “ a ” should be pronounced stronger than the second half “ o ”.

 

It is similar to English letters “ow” in how, now, cow.

It is very similar to the English letter “o” in mode, code, hope.
